Agouti

The agouti starts out with an environment that they are used to and can survive in. They live in the rainforest. The rainforest has a lot of water and food such as fruits, seeds, and nuts. They can also jump really high to escape predators by jumping into trees and running in the big area. Then their habitat gets destroyed and then the agouti starts walking, changes fur color, and has to eat more shellfish. There are also no more places to hide and the agouti is no longer covered by the trees. Now they have to dig burrows to live in and then they become nocturnal. They do this to survive predators and the heat. They have to survive on shellfish because there are no trees or anything to give them fruits and seeds. They need to stand so they can scare predators away.
