How parrots adapt to changes

My animal is a parrot.In the rainforest my animal looks colorful.Right now it survives on eating berries and green plants. It mostly lives in high places like tropical trees. If my animal’s habitat changes to a desert it will have less feathers.This will help it stay cool with the heat. It will also change its color to a chocolate milk color. This is to help it blend in and stay away from predators. It will also eat cacti and plants.
