The proboscis monkey lives in 4 different places. They live in Borneo, Brunei, Indonesia and Malaysia. The habitat of the proboscis monkey is mainly jungles and rainforests in those 4 locations. It has a long pendulous nose with red brown underparts with its big belly and hunchback. The habitat will change due to climate change in its habitat turning into a drier savanna which could change the adaptations. Its future adaptations might include them losing their ability to smell and they’ll evolve with no nose and instead it will have to use its ears to hear for food if they want to survive in these new habitats and the monkey will not have a hunchback so it has more reflexes. Majority of the changes of the proboscis monkey could be dangerous as it’s much harder to get food but it can also be good with their reflexes without their hunchback.
