I have chosen amblypygids due to how their habitat is. They tend to make their homes in caves, crevices & under large boulders & high elevations. They should be kept in 65-75F with humidity levels between 70-90%. With global warming this puts tailless whip scorpions at risk of being added to the endangered wild species. Without them the insect population would be out of control, Scorpions serve a vital role in the ecosystem eating small animals and are an important source of prey for larger animals. Areas with a high population of scorpions see them serve an important role in the food web by helping to control the insect population. They are a reliable resource for their environment. They are a very reliable resource for their environment.
