The lunar bot will dig the earth with a drill, which I found to be the most efficient. Because there is minimal air resistance and relatively little air in space, the drill would move quickly. Caterpillar wheels will be on the bot. It offers the best traction as well as the fastest maneuvering speed. The lunar bot will be equipped with solar panels and a backup battery that will be charged before usage. If the solar panels fail or do not offer enough power, the bot will be powered by the backup battery. As the drill digs for lunar regolith, we'll utilize a vacuum to gather scattered dust. One solution is to use a vacuum filter to filter big particles, and then let the air escape through the exhaust. We'll use a shield to protect the lunar bots' components from dust.
