Auger Bot

The moon is a desolate, dusty wasteland that must be terraformed into a more suitable enviornment in order for it to be an effective place for people. A worthwile innovation is a completely modular system of seperate auger bots. An auger is a drill or corkscrew shape, which upon spinning horizontally on the ground, propels it forward. Moving forward via the spinning augers causes the threads of the augers to chop up and dig into the regolith. This will push the soil back into a holding container attached to the end of the auger bot. Each auger bot will have two augers on its bottom that cover its entire underside. These bots are far more efficient because what allows them to move is what allows them to dig. They can drive from one location to another, collecting dirt along the entire way.
