The Selene Lunar Rover is designed to dig and move lunar soil from one lunar south pole to a holding container near a future Artemis moon base. My robot is 3.5 feet 2 by 2 feet size robot, solar-powered that will harness energy from the sun, with a metal antenna to send messages and pictures back down to Earth, my robot has a robotic arm with a shovel attached to it to help with building a moon base and work with lunar concrete and a robot that will help harvest water. The rover will be made up of stainless steel to resist intense hot and cold temperatures, and consist of six wheels to drive through the moon’s rocky terrains. The rover will be covered in atomic layer deposition with very thin layers of indium tin oxide, this will stop electrical charges stopping lunar regolith from clinging to my rover.
