Homework is the name of my robot for this project. It will be 3.5 feet tall, 1.5 feet wide, and 2 feet in length. Homework will grab onto the lunar surface with its wheels to move and will be remote controlled to get precise directions. It will be powered by lithium ion batteries that will be charged by solar panels. The solar panels will be able to change in angles to maximize energy gained. To collect lunar regolith, Homework will extend from below a box that will dig a pile of lunar regolith sticking out in a pile. After finishing, Homework will retract its box and will be controlled back. To counter against the heat and cold, Homework will be made of 6061 aluminum alloy.
