Kuma is a robot that uses an extend and retract scooper which can deposit the regolith collected into the bed on the back half of the robot. The robot extends it’s arms, scoops up the soil, retracts and returns to default position, tilts the scooper the opposite direction, and lets the regolith fall in the bed as the comb on the other half of the scooper stops the rocks from falling. The robot is powered by a large solar panel concealing the front half, with all terrain wheels moving it to its desired locations. There is also a camera / sensor on the front that the robot uses to view the landscape ahead. The back of the bed has a latch which can open and close allowing for easier access to the soil inside. For the dust issue, I have simply resolved to use dust resistant paint / spray.
