The reason I picked the wheels over treads is that Nasa has already decided that tires are more suitable so I will go with their idea because they seem to have some reasoning. I think that the material should be lightweight but also strong and not too flexible but not rigid. The alloy that I came up with is titanium-based carbon fiber called Carbotanium. The collection would be a railgun that can suck up the regolith.
