The Hermes Rover named after the God of Exploration, is a lunar based rover with the mission to collect particles and receive lunar regolith by using a hydraulic scoop to then dump the lunar soil and particles in the storage section of the rover. The Hermes also has control operated ability from a command post or mission control on earth or a moon base. The rover uses gripped tank-like treads for mobility over the lunar region of land. As well as using electricity to operate, the rover also uses a solar panel on the top, to generate power on longer missions with more distance involved. The Rover is also interchangeable for new parts, such as the treads after continuous missions or a new scoop. The whole rover would be made out of titanium to help with the repulsion of magnetic lunar dust to help secure the integrity of the Hermes.
