Lunar Terrain Digger (Lutedi)

The Lutedi's most critical feature for digging up the regolith will be its two side arms that will be able to smash into the surface and pick up the spoils into its inner container. This inner vessel will assure the safe escort of the regolith back to its home base. While it won't be able to carry as much in one trip, it will carry more in the long run. Lutedi is designed to have reinforced solar panels that will allow it to operate over long distances for a very long time. However, normally such systems will crumble to the lunar dust along with the other sensitive systems. On the contrary the third upper arm will be equipped with a magnetic brush with 360 degree movement that will use magnetism to attract and clean the dust from all essential systems.
