The Augie will use an auger to dig and move moon rock. The screw conveyor will be mostly enclosed to keep lunar dust from affecting any moving parts in the Augie. The Augie is slow moving with a large container to allow for 1 large trip instead of many small trips. The tread system on Augie is designed to be capable of moving over rough terrain. The Augie includes a camera/sensor to navigate and an antenna for alerts and remote control.
