The lunar rover's name is Trailblazer. One feature is its thick metal tires with tiny spikes. The tires help it move on the uneven landscape and last through the extreme weather temperatures. Next, the rover has a large antenna to contact Earth directly. The rover's top is covered with solar panels since it can be powered by direct sunshine. As a backup, Trailblazer has a lithium-ion battery in a cool box within the rover to power it when it is dark. Another feature is its large motion sensor that can detect a meteoroid coming its way in a 10,000-mile radius. Finally, the rover has a shovel to move the lunar soil. Its interior part has an electromagnetic sheet since the lunar soil contains iron, and the soil will remain in the shovel until released. The rover's removable compartment will store the lunar soil and also help with moving it.
