The LRM has six large wheels. There are two red lights on the swiveling head. In between is a blue scanning eye with a protective visor above it. The LRM uses xrays to see through the dust. LRM is battery powered and has two battery compartments behind the head. It has a big scoop, with teeth, to dump the regolith into two holding compartments near the back end of the rover. Each compartment holds about fifteen pounds of regolith. Once the two compartments are full, the scoop can pick up more regolith and rest atop the visor. The LRMs vents blow away lunar dust.
