Physical design: I plan to scoop up lunar regolith with a dump truck style shovel. It will scoop up lots of regolith in one scoop. It has double hinges so it can bend both ways: forward, backward, left, and right. Operational design: My design will be made to carry lots of regolith in one trip. The holding spot for it will be very large. The scoop will take alot the regolith and flip it into the holding spot. Dealing with dust: The way I will deal with the lunar regolith is after scooping it into the designated spot, there will be a cover that goes on top of it. This cover will keep all of the regolith inside. Inside the container, there will be little sensors that will shoot electron beams to neutralize the staticness. This will make it less static and easier to transport.
