My lunar rover is named Andromeda, and one of the ways it can scoop up lunar regolith using a scoop on the bottom of the bot. The scoop is able to open lower than the bot, collect dirt, send it to a storage area, and then close. My rover is on the smaller side, which means it will have to carry smaller loads in more trips. This won’t be a problem though, because it has a solar panel on the top that will provide it with a constant battery. Even though the lunar regolith is easily disturbed and can coat everything, the rover will be coated in non-stick coating, which will prevent the regolith from destroying critical devices. My rover will have sensors that detect all, but not limited to, temperature, color, and depth, so it can sense its area and not get damaged because it falls into a crater.
