828-Axel

Physical Design: The 828-Axel will have a wide shovel on the front of it to move the lunar regolith. Once it has picked up the regolith it will go into the suction hole on the top of the body. This is where it will fall into the 828-Axel´s body and keep there until full. Once the compartment for the regolith is full it will drive to its location on a sprocket wheel. Finally when it is at its location it will drop the regolith from a hatch on the bottom and then go back for more. Operational Design: The 828-Axel will carry approximately 5-6 lbs of lunar regolith in its compartment. Dealing With Dust: The 828-Axel will be made of a highly repelling surface which lets almost nothing stick to it and after every load it will drive through a building where it will brush off all the lunar regolith.
