Lunabot challenge: Moonbot My lunabot has a shovel to collect the lunar regolith, and optional wheels. The camera on the top is used to see where it is going to collect the lunar regolith samples. Physical design My lunabot has a scooper on the front of it so it can scoop up or dig the lunar regolith. To move the lunar regolith all it has to do is first dig it up and then carry it to the next location. Operational design It will be able to carry as much as the shovel can hold. Which might be in the middle of a lot and a little. The shovel can probably hold a big enough amount for a pretty good sample.
