Rock them Robots--a swarm intelligent 3-robot system to harvest water, metals, and minerals from the Moon’s surface. All the robots have wheels made of shape-memory-nitinol and a graphene sail. The DiggerBot has a graphene scoop to collect regolith, and also sensor-identifies metal, mineral, or water in the regolith, communicating to the Mineral/WaterBot or MetalBot to take the regolith from the Digger. The MetalBot collects the regolith from the DiggerBot. To extract the metals, phytoremediation is used. Instead of using this mechanism to extract it and discard the metals, we are extracting the metals to save them. The Mineral/WaterBot will come forward and collect minerals. For extracting water from the regolith phase transition occurs, which involves pumping energy into the regolith to dissolve the ice into vapor, then catching the vapor, re-freezing it, and transporting the solid ice to a processor for purification and electrolysis.
