The robot project, my classmates and I are doing in Design Thinking is about making a robot that can survive on the moon and can take lunar soil to earth. My robot is the shape of a square with treads on the bottom that help it move easily through the lunar soil. The way it takes lunar soil is by scooping it up and pushing through a heavy flap on the front of the robot then a brush comes down and brushes the lunar soil onto a conveyor belt where it’s taken to the storage compartment towards the back. The robot stops the lunar soil from affecting itself by putting a negative magnet in the middle. The robot does everything by the code box in the back and solar panels giving the robot energy and it also has a camera so the robot knows exactly where it’s going.
