The robot diggs by drilling into the ground and spreading its legs out to move farther down. When the drill is full of dirt it moves the legs closer to the base of the robot and shakes the dirt off the drill onto some place on the ground. It then continues drilling deeper before shaking into the pile again it repeats this process until the pile is big enough. When the dirt pile is big enough the robot sprays sticky stuff on it and sticks the drill in it. When the stuff has dried the robot's drill should be stuck to a pile of dirt, once done the drill bit detaches only connected by a line of wire while the rest of the robot walks back to the base thing and detches the drill.
