This robot is made of aluminum, ensuring that it won’t overheat or freeze on the moon’s surface. The robot will operate only during lunar daytime and has AI to know when to work and where to go. The robot has solar panels so the sunlight will power it during the day. Sunlight makes the regolith positively charged, so the aluminum is positively charged to repel the regolith. It carries many small loads to the base per day. The robot’s front has a scoop to shovel raw regolith into the container and a camera to broadcast its movement. The wheels have caps to block out regolith and treads to erode regolith so the sharp pieces don’t harm the robot. This eroded regolith is caught by a net and funneled into the container. At base, the robot will empty its regolith with a flap on its front so astronauts can study it.
