EASE can withstand the Moon's temperature, being made of mainly titanium which is also strong. EASE will be able to have enough energy, with using the MMRTG battery. Next, the wheels are based off titanium-nickel alloy, which can reshape and go over obstacles more easily which also withstands high temperatures. The wheels will be held with a titanium beam connected to the robot. This beam will help it go over obstacles, with the beam going up with the wheels, which helps the robot get over easier. Next, the active and passive technologies to help prevent dust getting on the robot. The Passive technology would be gold foil which will cover parts of the robot so EASE and the active technology would be Georgia Tech Hybrid Dust Mitigation Brush will be included on the robot to ensure dust is prevented. Lastly, EASE is controlled manually by NASA programming it’s movements.
