Chad will use a battery that is powered by a radioisotope power system. It will vary speeds depending on the texture of the ground, when there is lots of bumps it will slow down but when driving on a flat surface it will speed up. Chad will use a centrifugal force that will keep the "body" upright, wile traction is maintained by wheels with spikes and divots. Chad will be made out of aluminum because it is lightweight and it can handle the extreme temperatures. To keep all the dust off it will use a passive dust technology using a UV light that can remove 90% of all the dust collected on the robot. The robot will be controlled and autonomous. People from earth will control the movement but not the digging. The robot will dig regolith and dump it back into a large container that will carry the lunar regolith.
