This robot would be controlled by a robot driver on Earth. The robot driver would also see to it that the solar panels on the robot would not become incapacitated. The panels would also be covered by a sort of thin plastic shield. The rest of the robot would be protected from dust by having some stored compressed air blown out along the surface of the robot. This machine will excavate and dig lunar soil with a long type of scoop (like construction equipment) and be stored in a compartment within the machinery. Wheels on this robot will have some sort of spikey type things to dig into the surface of the moon, but will move at a medium speed to help balance issues. For balance, the center of gravity will be slightly off-center to make up for the weight added by the scoop.
