Transported by a motorized back wheel and treads, the body carries the drill and can lower itself down to the necessary height to excavate regolith soil. The drill has an excess hole that collects the regolith soil and pushes it into a giant vacuum bag that is then sealed by a motorized sliding door. The soil can be transported by the rover and then unloaded along with the collected lunar dust when the sliding door reverses.
