Sunny

Our team’s robot is named Sunny. We developed/created together a remote-controlled robot. The power system we used is a battery that will power the robot to be able to move forward. Our robot will balance with tracks like a tank so the hull will be like a tesla cyber-truck, I’d say our speed of our robot will be like 20 or 30 mph. Our tracks will be made of hardened rubber wrapped around with like a lightweight metal material. Things that can help protect from extreme temperatures could be like foil or use parts made of the international space station. We thought of titanium as the protection from dust, I’d say we make our design with layers of metal like titanium or like some hard material. We thought of vacuum seals or vacuum systems to clear out dust, how our robot will excavate lunar soil is a conveyor system.
