Robots are the future, and I’ve got an idea for one that can move lunar regolith. My idea is a mix between a garbage truck and a rover. The rover attribute I want it to have is rover wheels. I want rover wheels because they are made of aluminum, which makes them flexible. They also have titanium spokes, which are just the poles in the middle of the wheel. This will keep the robot grounded, and it will keep it from breaking because of the low gravity. For the garbage truck attribute I want it to have a garbage truck arm that will reach to its side and grab the regolith out of a plow. Then the regolith is transported into titanium tubes. I want it to go through this every 20 seconds. Lastly, it will have solar panels to absorb energy from the light getting through the thin atmosphere.
