The Ulrich is a Germanic term meaning rich and powerful. The Ulrich is designed to break down the soil with its drill and then pick up the loose sediment with a vacuum, which is transferred to a compartment built inside the craft. The compartment then stores the sediment into small vials. These vials are then sent to a separate compartment for storage until the rover returns to the Artemis Moon Base and drops the vials via trapdoor. Ulrich's method of combatting the glass-like dust on the moon's surface is through use of high-pressure air nozzles. These nozzles will blow away the dust. The craft is powered by an internal voltaic cell, which lasts for several days with the assistance of a state-of-the-art solar panel which deploys by extending and unfolding to absorb the most energy possible. Ulrich can also transform into a compact mode for storage purposes.
