This Robot will be remote controlled. The power system it uses is rechargeable batteries. Heavy plates spaced throughout will keep the robot balanced and upright. The robot’s speed varies depending on different surfaces and temperatures it encounters. The robot also has 2 different speed settings. Large spikey wheels will help the robot to maintain traction on the Moon’s surface. To handle Exstream changes in temperatures the robot will have minimal moving pieces and parts. Passive technology to keep dust from interfering with the robot’s performance will be to have a smaller robot that cleans the main robot. Built in brushes will be used to clean dust too. A scooper will be used to dig and excavate the lunar soil.
