Astro Bot is a battery-operated robot with some really marvelous features. Astro Bot uses the movement from its tires to transfer energy to the battery. Its dimensions are 3 ft by 2 ft. Spikes have been added to the tires to support traveling over the lunars’ rough terrain. Also, on the Bots’ suspension is high-performance shock absorbers, to support dirt from not spilling over. To protect the robot from the lunar dust my robot has been coated with anti-static spray. Astro Bot has a shovel-like system to claw regolith from the surface and bring it back to the Lunar Base. Finally, my robot has 360-degree cameras and bright LED lights to assist the remote-control operator.
