There will be an arm like attachment on the machine and it will scoop up the dust. after the shovel has picked up too much regolith it will go into a large compartment and later when the machine returns to earth you will be able to open the compartment and study the regolith. There will be wheels at the bottom that are actively reporting if the machine missed any regolth. My robot is reasonable sized. Not too large, not too small. As you know, my machine carries regolith in a compartment. So it will be carrying a medium amount. You will have to take a couple trips but it is an amazing robot. My robot is actively responding to regolith being sticking to it. When the robot detects a regolith on it it takes windshield wiper like attachments to take off the regolith.
