As a contestant of the Future Engineers Robot Design Challenge, I have designed a space rock vacuum compressor with a dust stabilizing feature. My design has a vacuum to suck all the small rocks in and a hammer to smash the big rocks into little rocks for the vacuum to suck them in. My robot uses a
blower to disperse a mixture of magnesium chloride and water to control the dust. My robot has a storage on its back that can hold 50 rocks to be examined. My robot also has a trash station and monthly a space shuttle with come to pick up the rocks. My robot is 5 feet tall and 4 feet wide to make maneuvering easier. My robot also has a conveyor belt to move around like a tank. Finally, my robot will be black to make spotting it easier on the moon and in space.
