The robot is 3.5 feet by 2 feet by 2 feet and weighs 85kg (187 lbs). Lunar regolith is needed for multiple purposes, like building a moon base using lunar concrete; harvesting water that can also be used for rocket fuel; and extracting possible metals or minerals, and my robot can help get this job done. The robot will be able to scoop/dig and move lunar regolith, carry a certain amount of dirt per trip, and be able to deal with lunar dust on windy days. The robot has eight wheels, runs on NimH Batteries, 2 electronic contractable excavators, vacuum cleaner under the robot for the lunar dust, a drill, 3 cameras to document the experience, titanium case to protect the motor from lunar dust, and a lunar regolith storage bin. My robot will help get the job done and help astronauts.
