Roy is a robot that collects lunar regolith. His name stands for Regolith Operator, Yay! He does not collect with a shovel or vacuum. He instead collects moon dirt with a crate. He will carry crate after crate from the dirt mine to the moon laboratory. Now, the dirt won’t stick to the crate because there is a special electron charge that cancels the static cling of the dust that can only be activated by Roy. The crates are small so it can be carried by astronauts and taken to examination. Roy, if made by NASA, will be a key to the future of space travel.
