Mattone is a self driven unit. It has 2 front cameras are able to help Mattone in moving forward and looking for potential obstacles/difficulties, whereas the top camera will be able to rotate for a 360 view. There's wiper system for the cameras and other sensitive areas. The wheels will be wire mesh to maximize traction on the difficult surfaces. There will be only 1 front wheel so that the rover can go over difficult surfaces without damaging the front end and undercarriage. Mattone has lights that span across the front and rear ends to light up the areas needed for the cameras to evaluate. The scooper arm will have a closable 'glove' to store the regolith in an interior bin. It will be powered by a mmrtg system.
