My Lunar rover design consists of a holding container built into the rover, a shoveling mechanism at the front, a central control unit built on a redundant system of two controllers based on the sensor array and a few other characteristics. This rover is designed to be as simple as possible as to not over complicate everything. For power a long and light weight cable is run from a power source nearby the Lunar base, no messing with solar panels or RTGs here. No solar panels also mean less vulnerabilities for Lunar dust to exploit. The Lunar soil collection system is also relatively simple. Even with its simplicity it is still effective. A trenching tool like the one on my rover was taken on Apollo 14. In order to combat dust, all the electronics, the motors and the body are wrapped up in a material similar to what VIPER uses.
