My robot, Jofo Fagg, has vacuums below it so that it can transfer all the lunar soil to the tubes and then the lunar soil will transfer to the containers. My robot can hold 30 pounds of lunar soil per trip. Since lunar dust is magnetic my robot has metal sheets in the wheels so that the lunar dust does not get near the LiDAR sensor. In addition, the tires are made of rubber and the robot has a band of rubber around it so that the electricity from the lunar dust won’t affect the robot’s internal equipment like the rechargeable batteries and the LiDAR sensor. My robot will have a sensor that will detect when the battery of the robot is low and will warn the driver about it. It also has a light sensor that will store energy for emergencies.
