My robot Vector can dig, scoop and fold in on itself for storage. When it digs, it will scoop dirt, then the scoop will close, reach over the top, and come as close to the bottom of the bed as it can and drop the soil. The bottom of the bed has electromagnets in it, causing most of the soil to cling to the bottom. The bed is also separate from the main body, and when it dumps using hydraulics, the electromagnets will shut off and it will dump the soil. Also around all of the seams and joints there are magnets to keep some of the soil and dust from getting into the machinery. When it goes into storage, the bucket is able to fold back into the bed, and the bed can retract on itself for even more storage. It also has multiple cameras to see it’s surroundings.
