In this summary, I am going to talk about my Lunabotic robot that I designed. My robot is named “Moon Crawler”, for it has 3 claws and a drill in the middle on each claw. The design has the 3 claws, and then in the middle of it, is a compartment, and that compartment holds a camera so you can see what you are doing. My robot will scoop the moon regolith by drilling holes, and having the claws dig around the hole, then with a vacuum-like part on the bottom of the claws cylinder, that gathers all the regolith. My robot will carry somewhere in between lots and less regolith per trip. The regolith gathers in the compartment, stored in a bag. My robot is coated in a special chemical to prevent the Lunar dust from sticking. To prevent any litter, all parts are to be secured on tightly.
