The rover, the Solar-Powered Regolith Excavator and Transferer (SPRET) is a lightweight and inexpensive rover empowered with solar energy (and a blue LED light bulb for possible unilluminated periods) and a unique “trap door” bucket drum design. The black solar panels may become smudgy due to the granulated regolith, but several low powered lightsaber-esque electron beams repel the positively charged regolith with a condensed flow of negatively charged electrons. The innovative bucket drum improved the Regolith Advanced Surface Systems Operations Robot (R.A.S.S.O.R)’s bucket drum by maximizing the interior capacity to an astronomical 30-35 liters per barrel and being more dust tolerant. Then, the collected lunar powder would be analysed inside the cylinders while the soil directly adjacent is discerned by an ellipse-esque drill, and all data would be transmitted to the Artemis Moon base.
