The Asteroid Rover is made out of metal. To get rocks out of the ground, it has a scraper in the front. Once it has scraped up the rock, it turns around and there is a conveyor belt in the back that lowers and scoops the loose rock. Once the rock is scooped up, the conveyor belt reverses and brings it into the trunk, which opens and closes. There are two treads on the bottom that are inside the rover to help it move around. The back and front of the rover are enclosed so it’s only the treads that are exposed. The rover moves fast to make multiple trips with small amounts of lunar rock. The Asteroid Rover is fully electric and has a solar panel on top to charge the batteries.
