My Lunabot will help collect regolith (lunar soil) and transport it back to the moon base for examination. To do this, the robot will have a drill with a small hole to collect the dust while drilling. To traverse the tough lunar terrain, it will have lead to help keep it on the floor and there will be tank tires to be able to get over rocks and dust. The robot will also have small jets so it can travel over the moon craters into the moon base. To counter the lunar dust that covers everything, I will add an electric field generator that repels the dust that tries to stick. If that doesn’t work though there is rubber on the body because it does not hold any electricity. There is also a radar and camera to communicate with Nasa at home base.
