Lunar Rover

The Lunar Rover will be made mostly using aluminium. Aluminium has proved to be the best material for space rovers created by NASA. It’s strong, durable, and very lightweight, making it easy to transport. The material is very popular among things such as space travel and aviation due to its resistance of corrosion. Not only will the body be created with aluminium material, but the wheels will too. The wheels will have a “cleats” on them in order to avoid slippage and travel over the rocky terrain. The design shows a shovel on the front, which includes a flexible arm in order for it to move into sharper angles. And, of course, a camera in order to keep track of where the rover is traveling and point out any possible abnormalities and discoveries.
