The Archimedes Rover is powered by 4 solar charged batteries, which power 4 motors with one battery per motor. The solar panel and body will be protected from the corrosive lunar dust by an electric shield. It is propelled by 2 augers which allows it to go on lunar terrain. The regolith gets scooped up by an Archimedes screw that then leads to a tank inside the rover. The material is magnesium alloy because it’s lightweight, strong, easy to produce, and corrosion resistant.
