The Hammer-Drill Rover (HaDri-Rover) is a simple claw robot with many unique amenities to support the rover in the harsh lunar environment. The robot contains a claw with 5 pistons, like fingers, on the front that can move forwards and backwards to grind up the hard rethaline rock like a jack hammer can break up concrete. The broken-down rethaline will be easy to collect with the storage container in the claw. The pistons can contract into the storage container to maximize storage space in the claw. There is also a large storage space in the front section of the body to further increase the amount of rethaline collected per load. The body is sleek and aerodynamic, with a retractable sweeper on the side to clean the lunar debris off the body. Finally, two tank treads will move the body with ease to move back and forth to collect materials.
