I present the idea of the next lunar rover, Explorer. Explorer will feature eight circular and individualized wheels, for safety reasons such as getting stuck in cracks and crevices and not being able to get out. Explorer will also feature a bigger shovel and will grab more dirt within each trip. Explorer will be bigger in size and, because of it’s eight wheels, faster than most other rovers. As for the lunar dust issue, Explorer will have built-in plastic covers to cover the machinery that allows it to run. The plastic covers will fold out of the sides of the metal that Explorer will be made out of, and will neatly fold over where all of the mechanics will be. The covers will also fold around the metal around the machinery so it protects the entire rover as well. Explorer is ready to be sent to the moon!
