The wheels of the machine will be strong and sturdy so it won't be destroyed and of equal weight so they don't tip over the robot. My robot will collect the soil by using a shovel, it will store the soil in the compartment below the shovel, and when the compartment is full the robot will put the soil back in the base. On the top of my Lunabot there will be senser so it can detect crater in the moon and avoid them. This machine will work on a battery that can be used to work the senser, but most importantly to do the moving. Another problem that I needed to find a solution to was how to minimize the lunar dust while researching I found a material that repels lunar dust, my Lunabot would have a layer of stainless steel mesh over it to repel lunar dust.
