To protect from the static lunar dust, a plastic bag was used. In my machine, the plastic bag which contains regolith is compacted. Compacting reduces space and the lunar dust. My robot can adjust the amount it carries and the number of trips. Next to the main compacting chamber is two cylinders containing batteries and motors, placed as low as possible to reduce rollover risk. Surrounding it, a cover panel further protects against the lunar dust. On the top of the robot is a solar panel to generate electricity for the motors when not in use. To get the regolith inside of the machine, it has a titanium grade four, one of the strongest metals to protect itself. The protrusion can retract when not in use. The compacted and sealed bag containing lunar regolith is lifted using a screw lift that puts the bag on the top of the machine.
